Nearly nine years after the psychological thriller 'Maaya', director Neelakanta Reddy is awaiting the theatrical release of his new Telugu film 'Circle'. The National Award-winning director Neelakanta, who ventured into Tamil films with Priyanka’ (1994) and ‘Zam Zam’ (a Malayalam film), went on to win two National Film Awards for his 2002 film ‘Show’ and Four state Nandi Awards for his 2003 film ‘Missamma’. Interestingly, apart from directing Telugu and Tamil films, he also penned dialogues for Kamal Haasan and Venkatesh’s 2009 Bilingual thriller film ‘Eenadu’. His ‘Missamma (2003)’ and ‘Nandanavanam 120 KM (2006), Mr Medhavi, and ‘Maaya’ were critically acclaimed. The director, who has expertise in writing screenplays, is now coming up with yet another interesting and harrowing film titled ‘Circle’. In Circle, we deal with the play of fate and it is my interpretation of the circle of life, death and faith. The film stars Sai Ronak, Arshin Mehta, Richa Panai, and Snehal Kamath in key roles, and dance choreographer Baba Bhaskar plays an antagonist in it.
