The 2023 Asia Cup will be the 16th edition of the Asia Cup cricket tournament, hosted by Pakistan. All the matches will be played in Twenty20 format and it will be scheduled likely in the month of August and September 2023. Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, the ASIA cup was postponed multiple and final it is taking place in Sri Lanka in August 2022. In October 2021, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced that Sri Lanka would host the tournament in 2022, and Pakistan would host the 16th edition in 2023.
Although the top five cricket countries (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan) will qualify for the qualifiers, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Singapore and the UAE will compete in the Asia Cup qualifiers. has made its place in the Asia Cup 2023. India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, 1 Qualifying Team (Hong Kong, Kuwait, Singapore and UAE).
